Carlos J. Gómez de Llarena is a media architect working with physical and digital experiences which shape social interaction and our perception of space. He does interaction design with devices, installations, video, sound, wireless networks, the web and programming. His work has been shown at Ars Electronica, Eyebeam, Museum of Contemporary Art of Caracas, ZKM and ResFest, among others. His background is in architecture, video and interactive media. In 2003 he received an Ars Electronica Golden Nica award for one of his wireless projects, Node Runner. He currently lives in New York, where he works as an artist and freelance interaction designer.
