The Environmental Defense Fund premiered their short film at Lightbox during Climate Week
ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE
Lightbox hosted the Environmental Defense Fund’s premiere of In Plain Sight during Climate Week. Guests were wrapped in a 360-degree film that revealed methane’s hidden impact on climate change. With vivid visuals and immersive sound, the experience made an invisible problem feel real and showed that practical solutions are already within reach.

After the viewing, creators flowed down to the Cellar for a dedicated session. The space supported small-group discussions and direct conversations with the EDF team about the technology and research behind the film.

The main event began with the full screening of In Plain Sight, followed by a panel featuring Amy Middleton, Daniel Zavala-Araiza, Adam Met, Bec Newman, and Nimay Ndolo. Lightbox’s staging and visuals helped present each speaker’s perspective.
The night wrapped with a relaxed networking session that brought everyone together. Guests revisited the installation, tried the interactive methane tools, grabbed fresh popcorn, and connected with creators, scientists, and advocates across the space.
