2017 Artist Residency
In 2017, Lightbox launched a three-part artist residency program that featured the work of local, new media artists. There were a total of nine artists who used Lightbox's technology and space to create one-of-a-kind artwork to showcase new, interactive and immersive art. (Featured art by Barack Chamo and Jillian Barkley).
TRANSITIONS by Vincent Houzé: an interactive artwork installation that was shown for a one day only preview as part of Decode Experiential's ongoing Public Art initiatives. The installation was on view in April, 2019 hosted by Lightbox.
#LightboxLive kicked off their programming with a curation for ZAZ10TS starting in February, 2020 with new media digital work based on a stylistic “nature” theme. The program brings vibrant artwork into the neighborhood and is designed to juxtapose the images with the surrounding concrete structures and hustle-bustle of Times Square
