KILLABEARS transformed Lightbox into a fully immersive laboratory experience for their exclusive “KillaLabs” pop-up during NFT NYC. OG holders and invited guests stepped into a projection-mapped environment that brought the lore of the Killaverse to life—complete with glowing green liquids, flickering lab monitors, and animated sequences spanning all four walls. Custom vinyl installations and themed decor turned the venue into a futuristic lab, blurring the line between physical space and digital storytelling.

The evening unfolded across a series of touchpoints that fused utility, narrative, and spectacle. Attendees sipped lab-themed cocktails served in beakers and vials, illuminated by Lightbox’s programmable LED lighting, which shifted to match each act of the unfolding story. Guests explored the space alongside in-universe characters like Dr. Fomo, with curated moments of surprise including trait drops, wearable merch activations, and scannable touchpoints that deepened engagement with the NFT collection.

Every element of the build was designed to reward community while showcasing KILLABEARS' creative universe in an unforgettable way. The venue’s high-tech capabilities allowed for layered storytelling through projection, sound design, and environmental lighting. From the eerie glow of the lab aesthetic to the energy of the crowd, the event was a living extension of the Killaverse—an IRL celebration of web3 identity, creativity, and brand worldbuilding.
